The team
Our group is from Seaquam Secondary School in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. Our team (9181A), consists of three members in Grade 12, Michael McGrandle, Josh Heieis, and Noah Mar.
For Michael, this year is his third year as a member of Seaquam’s Vex team. He is our designer, programmer, and main driver. He has great experience and knowledge with Vex Robotics, For myself, (Noah), this is my second official year on the team and the program. Two years ago year, I was introduced to the program near the end of the year, and was an "unofficial member." I am the team’s lead designer, assistant driver, and the website admin/creator. And Josh is our designer, builder, and assistant driver. He his knowledgeable in coding, design, and building. Michael and I are also "mentors/supervisors" of the club during any periods of absents of our teacher, Mr.Hamade, or our coach, Gord Heieis. Together as a team this is our first year together.
Our goal to build and program the best robot we possibly can, so that as a team, we can achieve our vision and goals.

The Vision
Our vision this year in Seaquam Secondary’s Vex Program, is to further develop into a competitive and innovative group that can progress through the tournaments as far as possible. Although we have yet to obtain a seed in the Vex Worlds Competition, we believe with hard work and perseverance, we can achieve this goal and represent our school, and country: Canada. But first, one must take small steps, from development, to Regionals, then Provincials, and so forth, until we reach our goal of Vex’s Worlds competition. Together as a team, we look and anticipate with great optimism, to a future where our robot and team can progress together via teamwork, inventive thinking, troubleshooting skills, hard work, and dedication.
